It’s UKYA Day!

If you follow bookish people on twitter, you probably already know it’s UKYA Day! *throws books and confetti* Organised by blogger Lucy Powrie, who’s practically Queen of UKYA because she does so much to support it, it sounds like it’s going to be a really fun day. I blogged a couple of years ago about first realising UKYA was a ‘thing’. At that point I didn’t really own many UKYA books, but now two-thirds of my YA books are by UK authors. Books Read in March + Review of TELL THE WOLVES I’M HOME

March was a fairly busy month, what with some self-imposed writing deadlines and lots of chocolate work (Easter’s coming!). Last month I read: Geek Girl #3: Picture Perfect by Holly Smale — I do so enjoy the Geek Girl books. This one felt a bit more serious than the previous books — Harriet’s growing up — but was still good fun. Captive by A.J. Grainger — A.J. shares my agent, and is also the editor of some of my favourite YA books, so I was really keen to read Captive. I haven’t come across many (any?)
